Does the web journey planner require GPS location access?
No. The web journey planner is a simulation tool that runs entirely using local static metro databases. It does not request device location permissions or track you. To experience real-time location tracking and live notifications, download the official Jaipur Ride Android application.
How are the metro fares calculated?
The ticket prices are determined based on the total number of stations traveled. A journey of 1-2 stations costs ₹10, 3-5 stations costs ₹15, 6-8 stations costs ₹25, and 9 or more stations costs ₹30. Recharging your Smart Card gives you a 10% discount on every ride.
How does the 'Live Journey' mode work on the Android App?
The Android application uses your device's GPS and cell towers to track your position in real-time as you ride the metro. It alerts you when you are approaching your destination and provides platform information. This feature requires fine location permissions and is exclusive to the Android App.
Can I use Jaipur Ride offline?
